Our Mission
Our mission as Christ followers is to passionately love God, love others and present Christ in our world.
Our Calling
We are Called to Be...
- A Community-Wide Church - large, healthy, and full of the life, love and power of the Holy Spirit. We will gather to worship God, study His Word, seek Him in prayer, minister to one another and experience His life-changing presence. We will share the good news of Jesus' life, death and resurrection with thousands of people, many of whom will accept Him as Saviour. We will impact our entire community for Christ.
- A Cell-based Church - small cells of spiritual life multiplying throughout the community where people are accepted and accepting, loved and loving, encouraged and encouraging, forgiven and forgiving, served and serving, experiencing life-change and growth as followers of Christ.
- A Gift-based Church - where people discover their divine design, are trained and commissioned by leaders, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to serve through their God-given spiritual gifts, passion and personality both outside and inside the church.
- A Personal Church - where hundreds of fully-devoted followers of Jesus, individuals from every generation, race and gender, are personally reconciling people to God through Christ in homes, neighborhoods, schools, places of business and recreation.
- A "New Millennium Church" - bringing ancient Biblical truth and eternal principles to each new generation using new technology, effective methods, changing strategies and relevant communication under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
- An Interdependent Church - working in unity sharing resources, sending workers, encouraging, supporting, and praying with other like-minded churches and ministries in our city, province, country and world to advance the mission of Christ's Church.
Our Values
We Value...
-
Unity of Purpose: We believe the church should function as a community unified around God's purposes.
-
Lost People: We believe lost people matter to God and therefore must matter to us.
-
Full Devotion to Christ: We believe a life fully devoted to Christ, His Teachings, and His Cause is normal for every believer.
-
Reliance on God's Grace:
We believe that we must completely rely on God's grace for salvation, purpose and provision individually and as a church.
-
Prayer:
We believe prayer engages the power of God to advance the church and transform lives.
-
Bible Centered Teaching:
We believe the principles of Scripture continue to be relevant for life transformation.
-
Faith-Inspiring Celebrations:
We believe in gathering to experience God's presence, celebrate His goodness, and share His Good News in relevant ways.
-
Every Believer Serving:
We believe we honour God and serve others best when using our Spirit-empowered gifts.
-
Authentic Biblical Community:
We believe committed relationships within Christ-centred small groups are best for life-transformation. We believe loving relationships should permeate every aspect of the Christian life.
